The Festival dei Due Mondi (Festival of Two Worlds) is one of Italy’s most prestigious cultural events dedicated to the performing arts. Founded in 1958 by composer Gian Carlo Menotti in the city of Spoleto, the festival presents an annual program of music, theatre, dance, opera, and visual arts, promoting dialogue between European and American cultures — the inspiration behind its name, “Two Worlds.”
The 69th edition will take place from June 26 to July 12, 2026, under the artistic direction of Daniele Cipriani and will feature internationally renowned artists and productions.
