The Stagione Lirica Sperimentale di Spoleto is a historic musical institution dedicated to the training and promotion of young opera talents. Founded in 1947 by Adriano Belli, it is considered one of Italy’s leading centers for opera education and innovation, also thanks to its renowned European Competition for Young Opera Singers.
The 80th edition will take place from August 6 to September 28, 2026, in Spoleto and other Umbrian theatres, featuring opera productions, concerts, and world premieres focused on artistic experimentation and emerging performers.
