Cantine Aperte Umbria

On 30–31 May 2026, Umbria hosts Cantine Aperte, the wine tourism event promoted by the Movimento Turismo del Vino Umbria. For two days, more than 40 wineries open their doors with tastings, vineyard and cellar visits, and meetings with winemakers.

Wine regions and wines
A journey through Umbria’s main wine areas: Montefalco, home of Sagrantino; Torgiano, known for structured reds and elegant whites; Orvieto, historic white wine region; and Lake Trasimeno, producing fresh and fruity reds.
Key wines include Sagrantino di Montefalco DOCG, Torgiano Rosso Riserva DOCG, Orvieto DOC, along with Sangiovese, Grechetto, and Trebbiano Spoletino.
Food experiences, vineyard picnics, and activities complete a weekend dedicated to wine, culture, and landscape.
